The short version
- There are no accounts, sign-ups, comments or forms on this site.
- What you type into our tools stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
- We don’t currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
Our tools
The weekly care schedule, home safety checklist and emergency information sheet run entirely in your browser. Their contents are not sent to our servers or to any analytics service.
The weekly care schedule offers an optional “Remember this schedule on this device” setting. If you turn it on, the schedule is saved in your browser’s local storage on that device only. Turning the setting off, or choosing “Start over”, deletes the saved copy. You can also clear it through your browser’s site-data settings. The checklist and emergency sheet don’t save anything.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like most web hosts, Hostinger processes technical information needed to deliver pages, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, and may keep it in short-term logs for security and reliability. We don’t use this to identify visitors.
Fonts
Our fonts are served from our own site, so loading a page doesn’t contact a font provider.
Analytics
We don’t currently run analytics. If we add an analytics or advertising service, we will update this page first and describe what it collects.
Advertising
The site doesn’t currently show advertising. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any advertising code is added, including details of cookies and how to manage personalised ads.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we will use your message and address only to reply and, for corrections, to check and fix the guide. Please don’t send health records or other sensitive details.
